How Magnet works
Magnet's three rings — Orientation, the Field, and Resonance — are the rooms of one small place. This page is the plan: what each room is for, what never happens there, and how easily you can come and go.
How to read the plan
A gap in a wall is a door. Every door opens from the inside.
One possible walk. Yours will differ.
A warm point is a person, not a mechanism.
Ring 1 · Orientationthe room by the door
Orientation is a short, quiet check-in — a few gentle questions about how things feel right now. It isn't a quiz, and nothing you answer gets scored, graded, or labeled.
There's no hidden number underneath it. What you share simply helps Magnet understand where you're standing, so nothing that comes next assumes more than you've said.
Never in this room
Scores, diagnoses, or a result you're expected to agree with.
You can stop halfway through a sentence. Whatever you've shared stays yours, and the door back costs nothing.
Ring 2 · The Fieldthe open courtyard
The Field is a set of low-pressure spaces — small tools, reflections, and check-ins you can explore at your own pace. Nothing here is timed, ranked, or turned into a game.
Open something, sit with it for two minutes or twenty, then leave whenever you want. Come back next week, or never — either way, it stays exactly where you left it.
Never in this room
Streaks, badges, levels, or a record of how often you showed up.
Leaving isn't quitting. There's no streak to break and nothing keeping count while you're gone.
Ring 3 · Resonancethe smaller room
Resonance is where real people enter — therapists, facilitators, and small groups. Magnet doesn't rank them or hand you a match: you're shown who's here and why they might fit, and the decision stays with you.
This room has its own door from the street. You never have to pass through anything else to reach a human, and waiting is as welcome an answer as reaching out.

Leaderboards, “best match” certainty, or urgency dressed up as care.
You can look without committing, on your own timeline.
