Meet Magnet: a quieter way to find support
What Magnet is, what it isn't, and how its three rings work — a calm place to get your bearings, try small things that help, and meet a person when you're ready.
Most ways into mental health support ask you to know what you need first. Pick a therapist. Fill in an assessment. Book a slot. That works if you already have the words. A lot of people don't — yet.
Magnet is built for the stretch before the words. It's a calm place to get your bearings, try small things that might help, and meet a person when you're ready. Nothing here scores you, and nothing expires.
What Magnet is, and isn't
Magnet is a support space, not a clinic. It helps you notice what feels hard, find support that fits how you're doing today, and move toward human care at your own pace.
It isn't therapy, a diagnosis, or a crisis service. When something needs a clinician, Magnet points you toward one. When something is urgent, it points you to the people who answer right now.
How it works: three rings
Magnet has three rings. You can stay in any of them as long as you like, and leave any of them without explaining why.
1. Orientation
A short, quiet check-in: a few questions about how things feel right now. Skip any of them. It ends in a short reflection in plain language — not a label, and not a score. Orientation is free.
2. The Field
A small set of short practices: grounding, breath, reflection, stepping back, a small next step. Most take a few minutes. A few come forward to suit your pace today; the rest wait where they are.
On a heavier day, the Field stays small and light. On a more open day, it lets you go a little deeper. Save what helps. Leave whenever you want.
3. Resonance
When you want a person, Magnet introduces a few therapists whose way of working may fit what you've been drawn toward. They aren't ranked, and nobody is assigned to you. You decide whether to reach out, and when.
